New Hanover County School Lunch Assistance Fund

We believe no child should go hungry at school. We understand that families struggle and that existing free and reduced lunch programs are often inadequate. Our Founder and CEO is supporting a local effort to pay off student lunch debt for those who are struggling. Funds are managed entirely separately and without an administration fee except that received by Go Fund Me.

Our Cape Fear OSMS (Open Source Medical Supplies) project has provided over 40,000 medical supply items—most free of charge—to keep everyone safe from COVID-19. At present, we are unable to ship and are locally delivering only in Southeastern NC. Community nonprofits, schools, essential workers, healthcare providers, or others in need may request PPE or DIY medical substitutes. Requests are subject to availability in this volunteer effort.
