For Veterans

To all our Veterans, we are On Your Side. We are Veterans, family, caregivers, health professionals, friends, and allies. We understand that you deserve more than flag pins, promises, and parades. We realize that the PACT Act did not cover many of your toxic exposures, including major in-country exposures at bases other than Lejeune. We also realize that the medical community often has little knowledge of your exposures to be able to provide quality care or to assist with a nexus letter for your claim. This is why we are so excited to launch our Medical Patriot Project!

Recently, a team including an expert DoD researcher and a toxics and remediation specialist uncovered evidence of in-country spraying of thousands of gallons of mixtures of the two active toxicants in Agent Orange at the Former Fort Ord, U.S. Army, in California. We garnered national attention when the story was picked up by the Washington Post.1 After these shocking findings, we committed to providing Veterans with evidence detailing and archiving the legacy of contamination at Fort Ord. In this first model for our new Medical Patriot Project, we are providing evidence of the herbicide use as well as TCE and PFAS in evidentiary packets for Veterans claims--available on the Fort Ord contamination website.2
As an expert team of Patriots, we will continue to expose the legacy of DoD contamination--one base at a time. Once the Veteran guidance is complete, our team is compiling guidance for Veterans' care teams to better understand the health risks from their exposures, and to empower their clinicians to draft nexus letters for their Veteran patients. We will even recognize clinicians who are screening for service, completing education, and writing nexus letters as Medical Patriots. The updated list will be on our website and linked to our social media so you know which doctors got your back with their commitment to understanding your toxic exposures!

We are PROUD that our research and nexus letter were able to get service connection for a Veteran suffering from a blood cancer--based on exposure to the contamination at Fort Ord!
We got your 6 with our new Medical Patriot Project!
To our Veterans, is somewhere you served in-country heavily contaminated? Have concerns you are not being screened and receiving quality care related to your exposures? Do you know a doctor who needs assistance understanding your exposures and writing a nexus?

Veterans Health Education
Dr. Kyle has years of experience raising awareness and educating on issues to improve Veterans care. Having served both as a VA physician and caring for Veterans in the private sector, she is passionate about closing the gaps so Veterans receive appropriate, Veteran-specific care that meets their needs no matter where they seek their care.
An experienced public speaker, she is able to provide presentations on myriad topics related to improving Veterans care. She has brought her medical expertise to advocacy to address Veteran suicide prevention; opiate safety; the care of female Veterans; and toxic exposures like to burn pits, Agent Orange, and chemical water contamination. If you would like to request a presentation, reach out today!
We have years of experience serving the Veteran community as allied health professionals, educators, and advocates. We have worked with Veterans of all eras! We understand Veteran-specific care needs, especially when it comes to toxic exposures.
At this time, we are NOT providing individual nexus letters--rather we are focused on our Medical Patriot Project which will provide large numbers of heavily exposed Veterans with critical evidence on the contamination at certain installations for their claims. This project will also provide education and evidence-based tools so that those in the medical community are better able to care for Veterans and can provide nexus letters confidently for their patients. Does your doctor or practice need help? Please checkout the Medical Patriot Project as we are ready to assist them to meet Veterans' needs!
